I sell old cameras to people born after they stopped being made. Digicamstore.in has been mine alone since March 2023: buying, pricing, photography, the website, every reel and product page, all customer support. Over ₹60L in sales to date, profitable, no outside funding. Before this I was on the early team at Gully Labs, where I spent three months in the founder's office before taking over operations and video production. Photography since 16. I am looking to apply the founder side of this somewhere with more room than a one-person company has.
Part-time to Apr 2025, full-time since. Built a pre-owned digital camera brand to over ₹60L in sales, run solo and profitably with no outside funding. Own every function: sourcing and pricing inventory, photography, scripting and editing all content, customer support, and the Shopify build including custom Liquid sections, Cloudflare Workers for payments, and a Cloudinary-backed print ordering system. Grew the audience to roughly 15K on Instagram, which is the primary acquisition channel. Extended the brand from capture into keeping: launched a print studio in 2026 with per-photo customisation and pack pricing, plus a photobooth rental line.
Joined when the company was shipping 10 to 15 pairs a month; by the end of my time it was doing 1,000+. Built and ran a freelance production team when full-time hiring was not viable, delivering social content, website assets and ad creative. Owned day-to-day operations alongside creative: inventory, dispatch, returns, and production reporting from line managers.
Worked directly alongside the founders on whatever the company needed that week: setting up the first manufacturing unit, sourcing and evaluating vendors, sitting in on hiring, producing content, supporting planning. The role was less a function than a pair of hands the founders could point at any problem.
Joined to support video production, took on work outside the brief as it came up, which led to the founder's office after three months.
Led creative across six brand accounts: a FIFA-tied campaign for Nivia × Setu Nutrition, end-to-end social and ad creative for Home 360, Corium Sacs and 1.5 Degree, production support for Beanly, and content and internal ops for We Are Notice. Ran pre-production and on-ground production: briefing crews, planning shoot days, coordinating vendors and talent.
Started assisting other freelancers and small business owners on shoots straight out of school, kept it running through a drop year and college. Worked mostly with traditional, non-digital businesses, which is where I learned e-commerce photography and how brand-building work actually gets made. Editing video for paying clients from age 16.
